The wrap on this Cybertruck was inspired by a plane flown by my grandfather, 1st Lt. Ken Kinsinger, who flew this plane in WWII. Our hope is to share the history of his service and the amazing men he served with. We travel all over to various air shows, car exhibitions, military events and work with many amazing Veterans organizations to help provide a striking and attention grabbing vehicle to boost foot traffic, provide unique transportation options and raise funds to support their worthy causes while educating the public.
The Silver Babe was a B24 Liberator flown by the 449th Bomb Group in Grottaglie, Italy Piloted by (among others) the Kinsinger Crew and Lead Pilot 1st Lt.Ken Kinsinger. This was the 449th's first unpainted B24 which was the reason for the Silver Babe name and inspired the tribute on the also unpainted Cybertruck. Notably, 1st Lt. Kinsinger led 50 missions with no loss of crew, including the bombing of the crucial bombing of the oil fields of Ploesti, Romania in July 1944 for which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
The Silver Babe has visited and been featured at many events benefiting some great Veteran's outreaches, Military events and community events including featured placement at many Nascar races and auto display events. The truck was used in filming and static display at the They Are Not Bulletproof Gala benefiting Grey Team of Boca Raton, FL. We were honored to drive a Gold Star family to their new donated home provided by the US Veteran's Corps in Raleigh, NC. The Silver Babe has also been displayed at the Wings over Wayne airshow in at Seymour Johnson AFB and Warbirds Over Monroe in Monroe, NC. It was also utilized to promote Check A Vet at many Nascar races.
